What’s New: App Enhancements and Certification Pricing Changes

Today we have a few app updates to communicate along with an announcement on Microsoft Certification exam pricing changes that will be taking effect on November 1, 2024. Learn Azure and Learn AWS App Updates
Microsoft and Amazon regularly refresh their exam content to stay in line with the latest industry trends and standards. To keep up with these changes, we're hard at work updating our study materials for the following certification exams. Our aim is to make sure our resources match the newest versions of these exams, giving you the most up-to-date and relevant information. This way, you'll be well-prepared and confident when you take your certification tests. Both Learn Azure App and Learn AWS App will be getting these updates:
App Name | Exam | Update |

Learn Azure | AZ-900 | Refresh content to align with exam updates. Minor changes to two sections (Azure identity, Access and Security) |
Learn Azure | AZ-104 | Minor update to reflect the change from Microsoft AD to Microsoft Entra. |
Learn Azure | AZ-204 | Refresh content per the exam change log. The % change in sections have increased or decreased. |
Learn AWS | CLF-01 | Updating the exam content to reflect the new exam. This exam will now be CLF-02 and replace the current CLF-01 exam in the app. A good overview of changes can be found here. |
We are also working on a brand new exam - AI-102. This is an intermediate exam typically taken after the Azure AI Fundamentals exam (AZ-900) for those in the AI Engineer role.
This exam is slated to be released by the end of September so keep an eye out for this new addition to our exam prep.
We have also received interest in the intermediate SC-XXX level exams. We’ll be prioritizing exams based on interest level so please hit ‘reply’ and let us know which exams you would like to see added to our apps. We’ll do our best!

Microsoft Certification Exam Pricing Updates
According to the 2023 Skillsoft IT Skills & Salary Report, 62% of professionals who earned certifications noticed an improvement in the quality of their work. Additionally, they felt more engaged on the job (47%) and were able to complete tasks more efficiently (45%). Whether you’re a student, an experienced professional, or exploring a new career path, earning a Microsoft Certification can be a key step in achieving your goals. Microsoft regularly updates exam content (as mentioned above) so that exams are aligned with industry standards and best practices. As a result, effective November 1, 2024, Microsoft is updating the retail prices for its Certification exams.
For most areas you will not see a change in price. To find the updated price of the exam in your area, check out the full list. Some prices may actually decrease in price depending on the area in which you live.
How does this news impact you? If you are planning on taking a Microsoft Certification exam, you can register for and take the exam at the current price until October 31, 2024. If you register to take the exam on or after November 1, 2024, you’ll pay the updated price. And of course be sure to use Learn Azure App to prepare and pass your certification exam! 😀
